Getting Started
- System Requirements — CatGame runs on Linux and Windows with a Vulkan 1.3+ compatible GPU.
- Installation — Download the latest build from the homepage and follow the setup wizard.
- First Launch — On first launch, the engine auto-detects your GPU and applies recommended settings.
- Controls — Keyboard and gamepad are supported. See the in-game settings menu for full key bindings.
Technical Issues
- Crash on Startup — Ensure your GPU drivers are up to date. Check
logs/in the game directory for error details. - Low FPS / Stuttering — Try lowering the graphics quality preset. Close background applications that may use GPU resources.
- Black Screen — Verify Vulkan support by running
vulkaninfo. If unavailable, update your drivers. - Audio Not Working — Check your system audio output device. The engine uses SDL3 audio — ensure no other application is blocking the device.
- Save Data — Save files are stored in the game directory under
saves/. You can back them up manually.
Account & Billing
- Purchases — All transactions are processed securely. You will receive an email confirmation after purchase.
- Refunds — Refund requests can be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Include your order ID and reason for the request.
- License Keys — Your license key is tied to your email address. If you lose it, contact us with your purchase email.
- Multiple Devices — One license key can be used on up to 3 devices simultaneously.

Found a bug? Help us fix it. When reporting, please include:
- Your operating system and GPU model
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Expected vs. actual behavior
- Any relevant log entries from
logs/ - Screenshots or video if applicable
